The Hire Fleet
The Marsden fleet consists of a wide range of truck mounted cranes and all terrain cranes with lifting capacities ranging from 8 to 100 tonnes. The following table gives a guide to both the mobile cranes available and their boom and jib lengths.

The specification of the appropriate crane depends on operating conditions and the load to be lifted, and should be done in consultation with the Hire Desk where detailed Crane Capacity Charts are available. However under BS7121 where the crane is operating under Crane Hire conditions, the responsibility for ensuring that the crane is of a suitable type, size and capacity remains with the Hirer, notwithstanding any advice the Crane Owner may have offered concerning the selection of a crane.
